When it comes to managing your super, insurance or banking — finding the right product can be tough.

“It can be quite difficult because there’s a lot of considerations, and sometimes you don’t know everything,” Mitchell Watson from Canstar said.

That’s why financial comparer Canstar has done the hard yards, nutting out the top new products that could save you time and money.

“They’re going to make your life easier,” Watson said.

If you’ve ever struggled to pull together a bond – “Trustbond” will help get the cash for you. It’s currently available in South Australia and helps both landlords and tenants.

“Trustworthy tenants can protect their landlord through one of Australia’s largest insurers Suncorp,” Trustbond spokesperson Will Soutar said.

It costs a small fee, but saves you from forking out the cash up front.

“That would meant that the tenant frees most of their money for the things that matter to them and the landlord still gets the same level of protection,” Soutar explained.

If your worry is life insurance, ANZ has launched it’s pre-assessment wizard. This tool can be used by advisers and even if you have a medical condition, it’ll allow them to give you an estimate on the spot.

A slightly different insurance product has been launched by BT financial Group will  streamline the claims process.

“Through your doctor service they’re able to get in a template all the information that they need and that feeds directly back to the insurer,” Watson said.

For any jetsetter — money transfer and conversion fees can add up. That’s why HSBC is offering a fee-free Everyday Global Account.

Watson explained the best part is that the account combines this with a travel money card.

Rounding out the top five is a Suncorp product saving you the hassle when it comes to motor vehicle claims. Using artificial intelligence, Suncorp allows you to lodge your claim online within 15 minutes you’ll know if and when to expect a pay out, without even picking up the phone.

However, Watson explained it’s important to look at your personal circumstances before committing to anything.

“People always need to consider is this the right product for me or is this the right service for me before they go ahead and purchase it,” Watson said.
