How to give your kitchen a makeover while spending less

If you’ve been dreaming of giving your kitchen a much needed facelift, special buys coming to Aldi this weekend can make those reno dreams come true!

We all know Aldi can be a gold mine for picking up items that you generally don’t expect to leave a grocery store with. From gym gear to camping equipment and televisions… you can even pick up a new bed on the odd occasion!

And this weekend will not disappoint those who wouldn’t mind a few new additions to the kitchen. There are so many options you could even contemplate a complete kitchen overhaul.

How to revamp your kitchen this weekend

Aldi is shaping up to be your one stop shop for all things kitchen this weekend — and that doesn’t just mean food, drinks and homewares. This Saturday Aldi’s famous special offers extend to kitchen items from smaller appliances like food processors to bigger ones like a stainless steel dishwasher for less than $350.

Having a range of one place is likely to save you time if you’re on a budget and want to complete a bigger makeover.

Below are some  of the products that we will be on offer this weekend, but keep in mind that stocks are limited so if you want something specific, head down early or even call your local Aldi to see if they will be stocking that item.

What it costs

Other ways to save money on revamping your kitchen — and home!

If you happen to miss out on the special offers this weekend, don’t worry, you can still snag a bargain at some of the other retailers like Kmart and The Good Guys.

For those in the market for some bigger kitchen appliances, The Good Guys have a dishwasher for $429 and an electric oven for $398.

And for those looking for smaller appliances around the kitchen, Kmart has a food processor for $69 and a sandwich maker for $15.

It’s always worth the occasional scan online for sales on Harvey Norman, Bunnings and even Target as they can have great bargains for around the home.

Don’t forget that you can often pick up great second-hand furniture and crockery from local garage sales and second-hand markets. Plus, using platforms like Gumtree or Facebook pages to pick things up for a cheap price can been worth your while as well.
