9Saver launches attack on households bills in a bid to save members hundreds
9Saver has kicked off its latest campaign which aims to slash household bills, as members struggle with the mounting cost of living pressures and stagnant wages growth.
The 9Saver Bill Buster Campaign will use the next two weeks to encourage 10,000 households to sign up and help source new group-discounted deals on electricity, gas and mortgages, as well as health, car and home insurances.
9Saver Campaigner Christopher Zinn says a new deal will be released every week for the month of October, allowing members to get their finances in order ahead of the expensive festive season.
“We have listened to our 180,000 members to date and they are really feeling the pinch – that’s why for the first time this 9Saver campaign will tackle several hefty household bills,” said Zinn.
In addition to the new and exclusive deals, 9Saver will also be giving away free power for a year to 10 members*.
“To enter all you have to do is join the campaign and tell us in 25 words or less why you’d like to win free power for a year,” Zinn added.
According to Choice’s quarterly polling one in four households is now struggling financially with the cost of living, and private health cover is the biggest concern (82%), followed by fuel (80%) and electricity (79%).
“We want to empower our members to engage in the market and see what better deals are available to them, because loyalty doesn’t pay,” added the consumer expert.
Zinn believes it still pays to shop around and switch.
“A financial spring clean could save you hundreds or even over $1,000 per year and could only take an afternoon to do,” he said.
“It’s free and easy to join 9Saver and, by signing up, the new deals will come straight to your inbox as soon as they’re made available,” he said.
